#1 on Top Ten List Captured

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office Warrants Unit / USMS Regional Fugitive Task Force announces the arrest of Trevon Lang, age 24, #1 on the 2018 Top Ten Most Wanted. This arrest is the second Top Ten arrest within 12 hours.

Today at about noon, Task Force Investigators obtained information through their investigation on Lang's whereabouts. They located Lang in the vicinity of Kennedy Plaza Apartments in Utica. As investigators approached to arrest Lang, he fled on foot and a foot pursuit ensued. After a task force officer caught up to him, Lang assaulted the officer before being placed in custody. Investigators were able to detain Lang at that point.

The Task Force Investigator was brought to a local hospital for treatment.

Lang is at the Utica Police Department being held for the (Top Ten) warrant and is pending new criminal charges from this capture.
