According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol, at approximately 2:40pm a personal injury accident occurred at the intersection of State Route 5 and State Route 233 in the Town of Westmoreland involving a Road Patrol Deputy and a 2019 Hyundai. Both operators sustained minor injuries and were transported to the Wynn where they were treated and released. Deputies were assisted by Kirkland Police Department, the New York State Police, the Westmoreland Fire Department, Central Oneida County Ambulance, and Edward’s Ambulance. The accident is still under investigation and more details will be released at a later date.
