On May 5th, 2024, at around 1030 hours Deputies responded to 5319 Route 233 in the Town of Westmoreland, Stewarts Shop, for a domestic in progress.

Alison M. Collings, 46, of Westmoreland was in a verbal domestic with another party at the location. It was reported that Collings was intoxicated and running into the roadway. Collings was across the roadway at the corner of Cider St. when deputies arrived. Collings was refusing to leave the area with any assistance. Due to Collings’ actions and intoxication, an ambulance was contacted for Mental Hygiene Law 22.09, while placing her in custody Collings struck the deputy, obstructed, and resisted the arrest. Collings was transported to the Law Enforcement Building where she was processed and held for arraignment at centralized arraignment court.

Upon completion of the investigation of the incident, Alison M. Collings was arrested and charged with Obstruction Governmental Administration 2nd, A misdemeanor, Resisting Arrest, A misdemeanor, and Harassment 2nd, violation.
