According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, at approximately 07:15 PM on March 28, 2024, a traffic stop was conducted on Limberlost Road in the Town of Kirkland by OCSO Patrol. The traffic stop resulted in the seizure of a quantity of Cocaine. As a result of the traffic stop 48 year old Michael Savachka, of Verona was arrested.

Deputies charged Savachka with the following narcotics related and Vehicle and Traffic offenses:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th – C Felony

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th – D Felony

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th – A Misdemeanor

Aggravated Unlicensed Operation - Misdemeanor (2 Counts)

Unlicensed Operator - Violation

Failure to Signal - Violation

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol was assisted by the Sheriff’s Office Forensic ID Unit and the Kirkland Police Department.
