According to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center on the 25th of February 2019 a Utica man was arrested for Rape in the Second Degree.

Investigator Carey J. Phair of the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and Detective E.A. D’Alessandro of the City of Rome Police Department, both assigned to the Child Advocacy Center, arrested Elisha Patterson, 18, of Utica for having sexual intercourse with a 14 year old female child in the summer of 2018 at a residence in the City of Utica. Patterson was held at the City of Utica Police Department pending arraignment. An Order of Protection was requested on the victims behalf. The victim has been offered services from Child Advocacy Center.
