According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol:

On May 2nd 2019 at 9:57 A.M Deputies responded to the area of 9807 Korber Roadin the Town of Trenton to investigate a deceased horse on the northern shoulder of the roadway. Based on an investigation, Marvin Miller (42) of Trenton, owner and caretaker for the horse was arrested for a violation of the Agriculture and Markets Law 353; Overdriving, torturing and injuring animals; failing to provide proper sustenance.

A necropsy is to be performed to determine the actual cause of death.

Miller was issued an appearance ticket and is to return to Trenton Town Court at a later date and time.
