According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on June 7th at about 10:21 A.M. Deputy Brian Warcup was traveling westbound on College Hill Road in the Town of Kirkland responding to an emergency call. Deputy Warcup attempted to pass a 2016 BMW SUV driven by Nicholas Solano (27) of Boston Massachusetts near the intersection of Green Apple Way when Solano made a left turn in front of him onto Green Apple Way. The two vehicles collided at the intersection. Deputy Warcup received minor injuries and was treated and released on the scene. Solano was uninjured as a result of the accident. No tickets have been issued at this time.

Deputies were assisted on scene by Kirkland Police Department, Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance, Clinton Fire Department and Hamilton College Security.

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert on June 7th at about 10:21 A.M. an Oneida County Sheriff Deputy was involved in a 2 car property damage motor vehicle accident on College Hill Road at the intersection of Green Apple Way in the Town of Kirkland. No injuries were are reported on scene and the accident is currently under investigation. More details will be released later after the investigation is completed.
