It is with regret that I announce the passing of K9 Cero, (Retired). Cero was Dep. Osika's long time partner that was trained in patrol work as well as explosive detection.

Over the course of his career, Cero and Dep. Osika assisted with hundreds of explosive sweeps for this agency as well as other agencies that requested his assistance. Cero was also an exceptional tracking canine and along with Dep. Osika the team located several lost children, elderly people, hunters, and criminal suspects actively fleeing crime scenes.

Dep Osika and Cero were partners for almost 10 years and he will be greatly missed by Dep. Osika and his family.
