According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol; On July 9th, 2019 at approximately 8:07PM Deputies responded to 7353 River Road, 13 Pines Motel room in the City of Rome for a reported domestic dispute. When Deputies arrived the caller had left the scene. The caller was later located at Rome Police Department. Investigation revealed that Carrie J. Brynien, 48 of Rome became physical with another member of the residence, who has an active stay away order of protection against Brynien. Brynien was taken into custody and transported to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office. Brynien was charged with Criminal Contempt 1st, a class E Felony and Harassment 2nd. Brynien was processed at the Oneida County Sheriff's Office and transported to Oneida County Correctional Facility to await central arraignment.
