According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol; on September 1, 2019 at around 8:55 PM, Deputies responded to the area of Oswego Road in the City of Rome for a one vehicle rollover accident.

Through the Deputies investigation, it was found that Tyler Domachowske, 20, of Rome, was operating a 2005 Honda Accord easterly on Oswego Road when he lost control of the vehicle on a curve, causing the vehicle to overturn into a ditch. No injuries were reported from this accident. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office DWI Unit’s Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) found Domachowske to be impaired by drugs and placed him under arrest for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs (DWAI-Drugs). Domachowske was released on tickets returnable to Rome City Court.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the New York State Police, AmCare Ambulance and the Rome Fire Department.
