According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on September 14th 2019 at about 0100 hours deputies investigated a missing person complaint in the Town of Camden. The investigation originated in Oswego County and later determined the last known location was in Oneida County. Deputies determined a 19 year old male was missing in a wooded area behind a residence on State Route 13 near North Ambroy Road in Westdale. With the assistance of the New York State Forest Rangers, deputies searched the area behind the residence where the male was located deceased. The males name will not be released and the investigation shows there is no criminal circumstance surrounding the death. Also assisting in the investigation was the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, Camden Fire Department and the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office.
