On Thursday March 19th, 2020; A City of Rome man was arrested by members of the Rome Police Departments S.I.U./Detective Division, along with the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit. According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol; Mark E. Bowman, 61 , of Henry St, in the City of Rome was “Wanted” on a Superior Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for ; Criminal Sale of A Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a class B Felony. He was subsequently transported by the Sheriff’s Office to Oneida County Court, and arraigned in front of Hon. Bauer. Mr. Bowman was Released on his own recognizance after said arraignment pursuant to the new New York State Bail Reform laws .
