According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol members of the Road Patrol responded to a domestic dispute at 10601 Hulser Road in the Town of Trenton on Sunday, March 22nd at approximately 9 PM. The suspect, Robert Diegnan broke a window and several chairs and then had a physical altercation with a family member. Robert pushed them to the ground and forcefully took property out of the pocket from the family member while they were on the ground. Robert fled the scene and patrol deputies were not able to locate him. The incident was turned over to the Criminal Investigations Unit where they filed paperwork in court requesting an arrest warrant be issued. Members of the Sheriff's Office Warrants Unit were able to locate Robert and took him into custody on the warrant. Robert was charged with Robbery 3rd, a Class D felony and Criminal Mischief 4th, a Class A Misdemeanor. Robert was arraigned in Court and was Released on his own recognizance due to the NYS Bail Reform that began on January 1st, 2020. Robert is due back in Court at a later date and time.
