According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, on Monday, June 22, 2020, at about 4:00 P.M., Deputies responded to Lowell Road in the Town of Westmoreland for a reported Personal Injury Motor Vehicle Accident. The investigation into the accident determined that Gabriella E. Argen, 20 of Yorkville, was operating a red, 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, south on Bartlett Road when she came to a posted stop sign. Argen then turned east onto Lowell Road after failing to yield to an oncoming vehicle, a white, 2019 Ford Explorer, being operated west by Jeffrey W. Grube. Both vehicles struck head-on and as a result Argen's passenger, Bethany A. Noble, 22 of Whitesboro, was injured. Nobel was transported to St. Elizabeth's Hospital by COCVAC for further evaluation. Deputies were assisted on scene by COCVAC and The Westmoreland Fire Department.
