According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol, road patrol deputies executed a traffic stop around 11:17 PM on State Route 69 in the Town of Annsville for a vehicle exceeding the posted speed limit. The vehicle involved, 2019 Chevrolet Impala, was operated by, Nephalia Wade (29), of Rome. Upon deputies investigation, it was confirmed that the Impala was reported stolen from the City of Utica. Wade was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th degree, a class E Felony. Wade was then transported to the Law Enforcement Building in Oriskany where Wade was booked and release on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Annsville Court. Wade was also issued several UTT's returnable to the Town of Annsville Court at a later date and time. Deputies were assisted on scene by the New York State Police.
