According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on Thursday, September 10, 2020, one person was arrested following a domestic incident in the Town of Paris.

On Thursday, September 10, 2020, at about 12:30 PM, Deputies responded to the Waterville Field Office for a reported domestic incident that occurred at an address on Summit Rd. in the Town of Paris. It was reported that at some point during the domestic incident, Mark C. Keenan (33) of Paris, NY, hit a child under the age of 17, dragged the child and grabbed the child by the neck and face causing bruises to the child’s neck. Keenen was located at the same residence where the incident occurred and was taken into custody. Keenen was transported to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and was charged with Endangering the welfare of a child, a class A Misdemeanor. Keenen was booked/processed at the Sheriff’s Office and then transported to the Oneida County Correctional Facility for an arraignment in Oneida County CAP Court. The New York State Police assisted with the domestic incident.
