According to Sheriff Robert Maciol, on 12 June 2021 at about 5:00 AM, a Rome man was arrested for domestic related charges on Lawrence St., in the City of Rome.

Sheriff's Deputies responded to a residence on Lawrence St., in the City of Rome in response to a reported assault complaint. Marcus E. Randall was taken into custody after investigation revealed that Randall choked and kicked the victim during an argument at the residence. Randall is being charged with Harassment 2nd degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, and Aggravated Family Offense. Randall was brought to the Law Enforcement Building for processing and held at CAP court pending arraignment.
