Sheriff’s Investigators have charged an inmate at the Oneida County Correctional Facility after he damaged property inside the jail. According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on August 16, 2021 Brandon Trask was incarcerated on unrelated criminal mischief charges, when he intentionally broke a window inside the facility. Trask, 22 of Utica was charged by investigators with criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, a class E felony. He was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and held at the correctional facility. He is to appear in Whitestown Court at a later date.
