Today is the start of the second week of the Basic Corrections Academy.

Members of the Oneida County Sheriff's Office are joined by recruits from Herkimer County Sheriffs Department, Madison County Sheriff's Office - NY, Chenango Sheriff’s Office, and Cortland County Sheriff's Office.

This week's instruction will cover Security and Supervision, Legal Issues, Essential Services, Special Needs Inmates, Physical Fitness, and Military Drill.
