According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, On January 30, 2022, at approximately 7:35 AM, Deputies responded to the intersection of Eureka Road and Bartlett Road in the Town of Westmoreland for a reported Personal Injury Motor Vehicle Accident.

Deputies determined that Jodi Colburn (59) of Westmoreland, was operating a 2018 Nissan Rogue easterly on Eureka Rd when she failed to stop at the intersection of Bartlett Rd. Colburn attempted to stop but her vehicle slid through the intersection and collided with a guide rail. Colburn was treated on scene by COCVAC ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries sustained as a result of the accident.

Colburn was issued citations for speed not reasonable and prudent and failing to stop at a stop sign. Both tickets are returnable to Westmoreland Town Court at a later date.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Westmoreland Fire Department and COCVAC Ambulance.
