According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol members of the Road Patrol responded to an address on Main Street in Westernville for a domestic dispute.

Kira Stolo, 33 of Westernville was arrested earlier today around 3 PM by members of the Criminal Investigations Unit and Road Patrol for Assault 2nd, a Class D Felony and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, a Class D Felony.

Stolo was involved in an argument that turned physical with her boyfriend on March 10th around 10:45 PM, the argument escalated and Stolo stabbed her boyfriend with a knife. Stolo fled the scene prior to Deputies arrival. The victim sustained injuries to his leg and was transported to Rome Hospital for treatment. The injuries are not life threatening.

The case was then turned over to the Criminal Investigations Unit. Once in custody Stolo was transported to the LEB for processing and then brought to OCJ to await arraignment in CAP Court.
