With National Corrections Officer Week just behind us and National Police Week getting underway, Sheriff Maciol and Undersheriff Lisi hosted an employee appreciation cookout this afternoon in front of the Sheriff’s Office.

Members enjoyed some friendly conversations while 130 burgers and 60 hot dogs were cooked up on the grill along with all the fixings. Thank you to community sponsors who provided everything for today’s event including the Leatherstocking Council - Boy Scouts of America, Walmart New Hartford, and the Oneida County Sheriff's Law Enforcement Foundation.
