According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, just before noon today, a vague threat was made to the Adirondack Central School District Members of the Oneida County Sheriff's Office and New York State Police, including K9 units responded to schools within the district.

Students were dismissed early by the district out of an abundance of caution.

The incident remains under investigation.
