According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol; On June 20th, 2024, at approximately 12:20 PM, Road Patrol Deputies responded to State Route 365 and Tilden Hill Rd for a two car motor vehicle crash with reported injuries.

While Road Patrol Deputies conducted their investigation into the crash, it was determined Cody Lockerbie, of Mannsville NY, was operating a 2023 Ram Pick-Up Truck, Northly, on Tilden Hill Rd when Beverly Koenig, of Rome NY, was operating a 2020 Honda SUV on State Route 365 in an easterly direction. It was determined, Cody, failed to yield the right of way while attempting to make a left hand turn onto State Route 365, causing the collision with Beverly's vehicle damaging to both vehicles.

Beverly and her passenger Shirley Fox, of Rome NY, were evaluated on scene by Vineall Ambulance and transported to Rome Memorial Hospital for non life threating injuries. Universal Traffic Tickets were issued on scene for Verona Town Court for a later date and time.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by New York State Police, the Verona Volunteer Fire Department, and Vineall Ambulance.
