According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, at around 5:43 am on July 24, 2024, a single car personal injury motor vehicle accident occurred on State Route 8 in the Town of Bridgewater.

Emil Streeter of Frankfort, NY was operating a 2024 Hyundai northbound on State Route 8. Subsequent to the investigation, it was determined that Streeter exited the roadway onto the shoulder and struck a utility pole causing the vehicle to overturn.

Streeter was transported to Wynn Hospital by Bridgewater Ambulance where he was treated for minor injuries.

Streeter was issued a traffic citation returnable to the Town of Bridgewater Court.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by members of the Clayville and Bridgewater Fire Departments as well as Bridgewater Ambulance.
