According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol a Rome woman was arrested for stealing as a home health aide. Denise Dexter, 60 of Rome was arrested on Tuesday without incident.

In June, Dexter was working as a home health care aide providing assistance to the victim in the Town of Trenton. While Dexter was working she stole jewelry from the victim. Dexter was charged with Grand Larceny 4th, a class E Felony, and was processed at the LEB, issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Trenton at a later date.

The Sherrif’s Office was able to recover some of the stolen Jewelry.
