Sheriff Maciol was extremely honored that the New York State Sheriffs' Association held its annual Summer Training Conference at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona in late July. It was the first time in the Association’s 90-year history that the Summer Conference has been held in Oneida County.

Each of the conference days began with meetings and training sessions and ended with enjoyable activities and meals that showcased some of the great things Oneida County has to offer!

Special thank you to those who made the conference one of the best for the Sheriffs of New York State including Turning Stone Resort & Casino and its golf courses, Vernon National Shooting Preserve, Phaeton Motors Ltd., Little Red Farmette’s Barn Quilts, Bonomo’s Ice Cream, the Village of Sylvan Beach, and Hale Transportation.
