As you document your child's First Day of School with signs, remember to prioritize safety and be sure not to expose too much of your child's information on social media.

Remove or block out personal information to help keep your child safe (much of this information may also be part of security questions):

Child’s grade

Child’s age

School name/logo

Teacher’s name

Interests

Avoid location tags

Graduating class

School bus number

Front door/front porch pictures that show house number

No matter your privacy setting or friends, it’s best to keep personal information to a minimum.
