In late October the Sheriff’s Office attended the AAA Northeast AAA to Gen Z - A safety summit for the new generation of drivers, held at the Utica University Nexus Center in Utica.

Students from across the area had the opportunity to hear from parent speakers, Law Enforcement, and fire personnel about the importance of making good decisions when behind the wheel.

We were also joined by members of Oneida County Emergency Services/Stop DWI, The Governor's Traffic Safety Committee of New York, Utica Fire Department, New York State Police, and the New York State Sheriffs' Association.
