Corrections academy graduation

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, the second Corrections Academy Class of 2018 held their graduation ceremony this afternoon in the auditorium of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center in Utica. The ten recruits represent the Oneida, Herkimer, and Madison County Sheriff's Offices. This ceremony was the culmination of eight weeks of intense classroom, field, and hands on training to prepare the graduates for their career in corrections.
