Holland Patent threat update

According to Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, on 03/07/2018 at approximately 1:10 PM, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Holland Patent Middle School for a reported social media threat. After an investigation ensued the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit arrested a 14 year old juvenile for making a terroristic threat, a class D felony. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by school officials and the New York State Police in ensuring the safety and security of the students at the Holland Patent School District.
