Lee Man Arrested After Assaulting His Father

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol a Lee man has been arrested and charged after assaulting his father. Sean M. McCormick, 22, of Lee was charged after deputies were called to Country Club Drive in the Town of Lee for a reported domestic dispute on August 4, 2018 at 1125 PM.

Through investigation it was determine that Sean McCormick had assaulted his father at the residence after a disagreement. Sean McCormick was taken into custody by Deputies who arrived at the scene. McCormick’s father was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance and he was later transferred to Syracuse Upstate Hospital due to the seriousness of his injuries.

McCormick is currently being held at the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office awaiting arraignment at Oneida County CAP Court, where he will be arraigned on Assault in the 2nd degree a Class D Felony.
