Lost woman

On Wednesday October 24 at about 7:14 PM Sheriff’s Deputies along with Maynard Fire Department personnel responded to a report of a Marcy resident lost and possibly hurt in a wooded area off Cavanaugh Road in the Town of Marcy. The caller contacted 911 on her cell phone to report that she was lost in the woods and had fallen injuring herself. During several cell phone conversations with the women, 911 Dispatchers were able to obtain information of a geographic area the caller was. At approx. 9PM the caller exited the wooded area on her own. The women was examined by EMT’s on the scene and was eventually transported to a local Hospital for evaluation.

Also responding to the scene were Whitesboro, Deerfield and Oriskany Fire Departments with UTV’s, ATV’s and personnel.
