The operator and owner, David Longway 61, of Boonville was located in Boonville by Sheriff Deputies. Mr Longway stated to Deputies he did not think the horse or Miss Porter were hurt bad so that's why he did not report the incident. He made a statement that he did not know the police were responding and that was why he did not wait at the scene. Mr Longway was issued four traffic tickets for leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, failure to use due care when approaching a horse, leaving the scene of an animal accident and failure to maintain lane.
