According to Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Undersheriff Joseph A. Lisi, a Utica man was arrested for having sexual intercourse with a child. Utica Police Department Investigator Frederick Bruzzese III and Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Investigator C.J. Paravati, both assigned to the Child Advocacy Center, arrested Sabahudin Pehlic, 36, for having sexual intercourse with a female child under the age of 15 while in the City of Utica. Pehlic was arrested for Rape in the Second Degree, D Felony. Pehlic was processed at the Utica Police Department and held pending an arraignment at Utica City Court. An order of protection has been requested on behalf of the victim. The victim has also been offered counseling services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
