According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M.

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, On 01/04/2019 at approximately 7:38 PM, Deputies responded to a report of a physical domestic incident in the City of Rome.

After an investigation by Oneida County Sheriff Road Patrol Deputies and the Criminal Investigation Unit, Brian K. Platt Jr., 29 of Rome, NY was arrested for Strangulation in the second degree, a class D felony and Harassment in the second degree, a violation.

Platt Jr. is currently being held at the Oneida County Jail awaiting arraignment at the Oneida County CAP Court. The investigation is ongoing.
