According to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, a Rome woman has been charged with Criminal Sex act in the 2nd Degree.

On the 10th of January 2019 Oneida County Sheriff’s Investigator Carey J. Phair and Detective E.A. D’Alessandro of the Rome Police Department, both assigned to the Child Advocacy Center, arrested Myisha J. Cummings, 20, of Rome for an incident involving a 14 year old girl that occurred in the Summer of 2018. Cummings was charged with a class D Felony and held at the City of Rome Police Department lockup pending arraignment in Rome City Court.

An Order of Protection was requested for the victim against Cummings. The Victim has been offered services through the Child Advocacy Center.
