According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a juvenile was charged with three misdemeanors and a violation level offense after a fight at Madison-Oneida BOCES this afternoon. The two students, both under the age of seventeen, were involved in an argument inside of a classroom when one of the students grabbed a pair of scissors and swung them at the other, striking him on the shoulder. Neither student was injured as a result of the fight. The juvenile whom possessed the scissors was charged with Criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, Menacing in the second degree and Endangering the welfare of a child, all class A misdemeanors and Harassment in the second degree, a violation. The juvenile whom was charged was released to a parent on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear at Oneida County Juvenile Probation.
