According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol,

On January 19th, 2019 around 3:22 P.M. Deputies responded to a reported three car motor vehicle accident with a passenger complaining of shoulder pain. An investigation revealed that Cole Bush of Watertown, NY was operating a 2014 Toyota Camry northbound on State Route 12 when he failed to yield the right-of-way to Michael F. Gille of Constablevle, NY operating a 2016 Subaru Outback who was southbound on Route 12.

When Bush attempted to conduct a left turn onto Main Street, Gille struck Bush causing him to continue through the intersection and strike an uninvolved vehicle who was stopped at a stop sign. This vehicle was a 2005 Toyota Avalon occupied by the driver, Joel Dragan of Boonville, NY and his passenger, Brandy Martinez of Boonville, NY. Martinez was treated and transported by Boonville Ambulance to Lewis County General Hospital for a complaint of shoulder pain.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Boonville Fire Department and Boonville Ambulance.
