According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol; A Boonville man was arrested after a Property Damage Motor Vehicle Accident. At around 8:02 PM on 1/23/19, Deputies responded to the area of Route 12 in the Town of Remsen for report of a single vehicle in the ditch. Through the Deputies investigation, it was discovered that Gregory Brand (58), of Boonville, NY had crashed his vehicle while driving in an intoxicated condition. The Oneida County Stop DWI Unit responded to the scene and subsequently arrested Brand for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with .08% of 1% or more of Alcohol, Aggravated DWI- Blood Alcohol Content of .18 or Higher, and other Traffic Violation(s). Brand was released on Appearance Tickets returnable to Remsen Town Court at a later date.
