According to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, a Utica man was arrested and charged with Rape in the third Degree and Criminal Sexual Act in the third Degree.

On the 31st of January 2019 Oneida County Sheriff’s Investigator Carey J. Phair and Investigator Donny Moore of the New York State Police, both assigned to the Child Advocacy Center arrested Trevon N. Brown, 21, of Utica for an incident involving a 16 year old girl that occurred in the Fall of 2018. Brown was charged with the two class E Felonies and arraigned at Utica City Court. Brown was remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

An Order of Protection was requested for the victim against Brown. The Victim has been offered services through the Child Advocacy Center.
