False Alarm of Fire at the

Oneida County Office Building

According to Sheriff Robert Maciol, the Fire Alarm System was activated at the Oneida County Office Building Tuesday, February 5th, 2019 at about 3:45 p.m.

The entire building was evacuated safely and quickly. The Utica Fire Department responded and investigated the cause of the alarm. It was quickly found that the activation was not a danger to the public or the building and business was allowed to continue as normal after a short period.
