According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit, On February 4, 2019, Kerry A. Wyley Jr., age 28 of Rome, NY, was arrested for 2 counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th Degree. The arrest stems from an incident that took place in the beginning of November 2018, when it was reported to the Sheriff’s Office that someone broke into a residence in the Town of Westmoreland and stole cash and jewelry from within. Through investigation, Mr. Wyley Jr. was found to possess some of the stolen jewelry at two Pawn Shops in the City of Utica, where he sold the stolen jewelry for money. Following Mr. Wyley Jr.’s arrest, he was arraigned in Utica City Court and remanded to the Oneida County Correctional Facility.
