Today Utica College Student, Devin Bryant of Rome N.Y., was awarded a $2000.00 Scholarship facilitated by the Rotary Club of Utica and the Oneida County Sheriff’s Law Enforcement Foundation. The Scholarship was presented to Bryant by Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, Chief Deputy Jon Owens and Oneida County Sheriff’s Law Enforcement Foundation Member Rob Swenszkowski. As part of the scholarship Bryant will participate in an internship through the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office. During his internship he will work with Sheriff’s Road Patrol, Civil and Corrections Divisions as well as the Mohawk Valley Police Academy. Devin Bryant is currently a Junior at Utica College studying Criminal Justice and is a member of the Utica Pioneers College Football Team.
