According to the Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Vienna man is in custody after getting into a physical altercation with his girlfriend as well as violating a court order during a domestic dispute. Brian D. Hummell, 31 of Vienna, is in custody after being charged with Harassment 2nd (Violation) and Criminal Contempt 1st (Class E Felony) in the State of New York. On 02/22/2019 at around 08:35 PM, Deputies responded to the residence for a reported physical domestic in progress called in by a third party. Upon arriving, Deputies learned that Brian was involved in an argument with his girlfriend and during this altercation, Brian pushed the victim onto the ground. Earlier this month, Brian was in court on a different matter involving the same victim and he was issued a temporary refrain from Order of Protection. The Order was in effect during this altercation and due to Brian's actions, the order was violated. Hummell was transported to the Law Enforcement Building in Oriskany where he was processed and later transferred to the Oneida County CAP Court where he is currently being held pending arraignment.
