Blizzard and High Wind Warning for Oneida County now through Tuesday

Remember A Blizzard Warning has to do with wind and visibility, NOT snowfall amounts. It means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout conditions, making travel extremely dangerous. If you must travel, have a charged cell phone and winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your vehicle and immediately call 911.

Heaviest snow will be across Northern Oneida County.

Winds gusting as high as 65 mph beginning early Monday and then gradually decreasing to 35 - 45 mph Monday night.
