According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol:

On March 17th 2019 at 7:23 A.M. Deputies responded to the area of 8246 Edwards Road in the Town of Floyd for a disoriented female in the woods, who called 911 asking for assistance from law enforcement.

At 7:33 A.M. Deputies located the female in the woods who was then transported by AmCare Ambulance to Rome Memorial Hospital for medical treatment for exposure to the elementsand a mental health evaluation. It was reported the female was outside for approximately 1 hour prior to law enforcement arrival. The name of the female party is not being released at this time due to the nature of the call.

Deputies were assisted on scene by the New York State Police, Floyd Fire Department and AmCare Ambulance.
