A Rome Woman was arrested in Rome Family Court.

Sheriff's Deputies at the Family Court in Rome arrested Isabell G. Cucum 18yoa, for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest today 3/29/19 @ 10:40 a.m.

Dep. Broniszewski was assisting Dep. Haynes remove Isabel Cucum (18yo H/F) from the Children's Day Care area. The woman was loud, threatening and profane. While Dep. Broniszewski escorted her from the hallway of the Day Care, Cucum resisted Dep. Broniszewski and attempted to hip toss him. As a protective measure, Dep. Broniszewski took Cucum to the ground and handcuffed her. She was being arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. During the take down, Cucum struck her face/lips on the floor causing them to bleed. The Deputies contacted Rome Fire & AmCare Ambulance and allowed Cucum to be transported to the Rome City Hospital to be examined and treated for her injury.

Cucum will be given an appearance ticket for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest returnable in Rome City Court at a later date.
