2 people sent to local hospitals after Motor Vehicle Accident in the Town of Westmoreland

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, 2 people were sent to St. Elizabeths Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Route 233 at E South St Town of Westrmoreland. According to investigating Patrol Deputies on scene a, 2013 Ford driven by Leota Feketa (67) of Woods Hwy Whitesboro, appears to have failed to stop at the stop sign on E. South St. Ms. Feketa’s vehicle entered the intersection striking a south bound vehicle, a 2016 Ford driven by Anne Robinson (70) of Old Boorne Dr Clinton. Both parties were treated on scene by members of the Westmoreland Fire Dept and Central Oneida County Ambulance Service. Both parties were then transported to St. Elizabeth's by Central Oneida County Ambulance. The accident remains under investigation and traffic citations are pending.
