According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol Deputies responded to 9786 Babcock Hill Road in the Town of Bridgewater for a reported physical domestic around 12:20 AM on April 2nd. Investigating Deputies determined that Leon Marriott, 37 had violated a lawfully served refrain from Order of Protection out of Madison County Criminal Court by punching the victim in the face, biting their nose causing swelling and minor bleeding. The victim was in fear of Marriott but was able to exit the residence and seek help. The suspect, had fled prior to law enforcements arrival but deputies located Marriott at a family members house and took him into custody without incident. Marriott was charged with Harassment 2nd (violation), Menacing 3rd (misdemeanor) and Criminal Contempt 1st ( Class E Felony). Marriott was brought to Oneida County Jail to await arraignment at CAP Court in the morning.
